So, who am I?
Dancing since the age of nine, I have explored various styles, including classical training, which has helped me develop a thorough anatomical understanding. I have taught yoga and Pilates for over two years, holding a 380-hour yoga certification from Yoga Sangha. Currently, I teach at Enso Yoga in downtown Montreal and Studio Sage in the Rosemont area. As a sociology undergraduate student, I relish connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, an experience enriched by my upbringing in a multicultural neighborhood.
My classes are known for being challenging, energetic, and adaptable to different fitness levels. I pride myself on being approachable and creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable.
MY PHILOSOPHY
-
“Slow is sometimes the faster way.” This principle shapes my approach to teaching as I focus on the importance of building a solid foundation, emphasizing mindful movement, proper alignment, and breath awareness. I celebrate the individuality of each student, understanding that everyone’s journey is unique.
-
I strive to translate this feeling to every student, fostering a strong sense of community within my classes. By creating an inviting and inclusive environment, I encourage meaningful connections not only between teacher and student but also among the students themselves. This sense of community enhances the learning experience and supports each individual’s wellness journey, making everyone feel valued and connected.
-
Yoga, at its core, means "union" — the bringing together of mind, body, and spirit. In my classes, I emphasize this holistic integration, helping students create harmony within themselves and with others. By fostering a sense of unity, both internally and within the community, I aim to cultivate an environment where everyone feels connected, supported, and empowered on their wellness journey.
